Our Founder
Niluka Johnson has spent over 25 years working with the homeless in numerous leadership roles and capacities; as well as having coordinated philanthropic projects in under-resourced communities both locally and globally.
Niluka and her husband Mark, have opened their home to young people who have experienced homelessness. They have seen many lives changed, renewed, and transformed through the healing power of the family-village model combined with the life-giving love of God.

Genesis utilizes a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural team who ensure success in maintaining daily operations.
The Genesis Board of Directors is committed to providing the needed governance for the organization while also ensuring our long-term viability.
Our Advisory Committee are subject-matter experts in various areas such as: Affordable Housing, Project Management, Social Work, and Fundraising.
